The Titan Chicken Power Bowl
Updated: 4 days ago

I'm Jayne Smythe, a SalesBEAST coach and trainer, and I am writing this in my Florida kitchen with my running shoes still by the door because I have not fully admitted the run is over. My mantra is healthy body, healthy mind, and recovery counts toward both. This bowl is what I make after a week of client calls, when my brain wants takeout and my body is politely asking for something better.
Comfort food does not have to put you to sleep. After a rough week, the one with the lost deal, the pushed demo, and the prospect who went quiet right after saying yes, you need a meal that helps you reset instead of one that pins you to the couch.
The Titan Chicken Power Bowl brings juicy seasoned chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli, avocado, and a creamy Greek yogurt sauce together in one balanced, filling bowl. It has enough flavor to keep discipline from feeling like punishment, which matters when Monday's pipeline is already waiting for you.
This is not diet food. This is recovery with teeth.
This one is also friendly to busy weeks. Roast a double tray of sweet potatoes and broccoli, grill four chicken breasts instead of two, and keep the sauce in a jar. Lunch for the next few days becomes an assembly job that takes three minutes. That is three minutes between a pipeline review and a client call, not thirty, and that is the kind of math I like.
Ingredients
Serves 2
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 large sweet potato, cubed
2 cups broccoli florets
1 avocado, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper
Sauce: ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Heat oven to 425°F.
Roast sweet potato and broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 20 to 25 minutes.
Season and cook chicken 5 to 7 minutes per side.
Rest and slice chicken.
Mix sauce ingredients.
Assemble bowls with vegetables, chicken, avocado, and sauce.
Why This Fuels a Beast
Chicken brings lean protein, which supports muscle after a workout and helps you feel full through a long afternoon of calls.
Sweet potatoes are complex carbs, so they give you steadier energy than whatever sugary snack is hiding in your desk drawer.
Broccoli adds fiber and vitamin C, and fiber helps you stay full, so you are not hunting for snacks at 3pm.
Avocado supplies healthy fats that make the whole bowl feel like a real meal.
Greek yogurt becomes a creamy sauce that adds protein instead of a heavy dressing.
Richard, who has coached more reps through slumps than anyone I know, swears this bowl would be better with grilled quail. I told him to go get some and the oven will be at 425°F when he gets back.
